António Gameiro Marques
Rear Admiral Antonio Gameiro Marques was born in Figueira da Foz on May 4, 1959. He joined the Naval School in 1976 and completed his degree in Naval Military Sciences, Navy Class, in 1981. After serving on several Navy ships, attended Marine Communications specialization and completed in 1987 the Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering that he attended at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California, USA.
After attending the Senior Course at NATO’s College of Defense in Rome, from 2004 to 2007 he was the naval military advisor to the Portuguese Ambassador to the Atlantic Alliance at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, where he was also the permanent representative of Portugal. at the NATO Consultation Command and Control Board.
He was promoted to the post of Rear Admiral on November 27, 2008, and from January 2009 to June 2013 he was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Navy.
From July 1, 2013 to August 31, 2016, he served as Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Defense and the representative of the Ministry of National Defense on the Installing Committee of the National Cybersecurity Center.
From November 2013 to April 2014, she attended the 39th AESE / IESE – School of Business and Management School.
Since 1 September 2016, he has held the position of Director-General of the National Security Office, being inherently the National Security Authority. The National Cybersecurity Center is in the structure of the GNS.
Throughout his career he has taught curricular units related to information and communication technologies and has given several presentations at various conferences on Strategic Management, Information Technology Governance, Maritime Situational Knowledge and Information Security in cyberspace. and published several articles on the same topics.

António Miguel Ferreira is the Managing Director for Iberia & Latin America and member of the Group Executive Board, at Claranet, a managed IT services provider in the areas of Cloud, Security and Workplace. He serves also as the President of Claranet Portugal, ITEN Solutions, Echiron and Inok. In 1994, he was the Founder of Esoterica, the first Portuguese private Internet Service Provider. From 1999 until 2005 he served as Director of European Network Services for Southern-Western Europe, at US-headquartered Via Networks Inc, in 2004 he founded Amen Portugal, a web hosting provider, and on 2011 Lunacloud, a cloud infrastructure provider. From 2004 to 2010 he was the president of APREGI (web hosters association) and from 2010 until 2016 he served also as vice-president and leader of the hosting committee of ACEPI and in 2014 to 2016 as a non-executive member of the board of DNS.pt.
Graduated in Computer Science Engineer at INSA Lyon (France) in 1996 and has authored Internet & Cloud books, launched in the US (2), Brazil (1) and Portugal (5).

Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Lisbon, Portugal
Daniela Schlegel is the First Counsellor and since June 2018 the Deputy Head of Mission, as well as the Head of Economic Affairs Department and for European Affairs of the German Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal.
In the diplomatic service of the Federal Republic of Germany she was assigned the position of Deputy Head of Division for the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America in the Federal Chancellery and served in the Human Resource department at the Federal Foreign Office. Daniela Schlegel was seconded to the German Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, as Political Counsellor and appointed as Head of the Legal and Consular Division and Cultural Affairs Attaché at the German Embassy in Damascus, Syria. She took up duties in the International Law Division of the German Foreign Office.

Demi Getschko has been involved in international networking since 1987 and took part on the team that established the first Internet connection to Brazil. He has been a member of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) since its creation in 1995 and has served as administrative contact for the ccTLD .br since 1989. He played a critical role in the definition of the Brazilian DNS tree and in defining the rules that govern the Brazilian registry. Since 1995, Dr. Getschko is an individual member of Internet Society – ISOC and he is currently the Vice-President of the ISOC Brazilian Chapter.
He holds BSc, MSc, and PhD, degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Dr. Getschko was selected for the ICANN Board by the ccNSO – Country Code Names Supporting Organization – in 2005. In 2007 he was reelected and served his second term until June 2009. Currently Dr. Getschko work as Associate Professor in Computing Architecture at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), Vice-President of ISOC Brazilian Chapter, a Board Member of CGI.br and CEO of the Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br)
In April 2014 he was elected the first Brazilian to appear on the Hall of Fame of the Internet to “Global Connectors” category for his “key role in establishing the first Internet connection in Brazil.” The ceremony was held in Hong Kong by the Internet Society. In July of the same year, Mr. Demi Getschko was awarded the Cristina Tavares Prize, by the Brazilian Computer Society, in Porto Alegre. On December 11, Day of the Engineer, Mr. Demi Getschko was also awarded the “Personality of Technology in 2014” Prize by SEESP (Engineering Union of São Paulo State) in the category “Internet” in recognition of scientific and technological work and its dedication and commitment to the country development.
Graduating with Law degree from Exeter University and with a Masters in European law from Rennes University, Eduardo Salvação Barreto, the new General Manager of HiPay Portugal, began his career in Xerox in 2008 as a Business Developer in the UK.
In 2012, he transferred to ACS Solutions, an IT and software Outsourcing company belonging to Xerox, where he was responsible for international sales of the Business Process Outsourcing solutions.
In 2013, he joins Elavon in London, one of the biggest global acquiring banks, in the international corporate sales team, first as a manager, then as a Business Development Director specializing in the Hospitality Sector.
Since 2017 and before being selected to lead HiPay Portugal, Eduardo was at SafeCharge as Head of Travel and Hospitality where he developed and implemented the company’s strategy in those sectors.
HiPay is a global payments platform enabling merchants to accept payments safely and securely in more than 150 currencies and through more than 220 payment methods across all channels: online, mobile and instore.
Francisco Pedro Balsemão
Francisco Pedro Presas Pinto de Balsemão, 39 years old, is the CEO of Impresa, the largest media company (Broadcast, Print and Digital) in Portugal, since March 2016. Previously (October 2012), he acted as Impresa’s Executive Director and COO responsible for Human Resources, Legal Affairs and Sustainability, as well as Company Secretary. He graduated in Law by Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Lisbon) and has a Masters Degree in Law (Magister Juris) by Oxford University (UK). Jan Bayer, born in 1970, read media studies and law, as well as business administration in Hanover and Madison, Wisconsin. Luca Cassetti is the Director of EU Public Affairs of Ecommerce Europe, the European digital commerce association. Nuno Ferreira Pires
Nuno Feixa Rodrigues is member of the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and an Associate Professor at the School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave. He served as the head of the Digital Games Research Centre (DIGARC) at IPCA, and also as an associate member of the Algoritmi Research Unit at the University of Minho.

Rui Miguel Nabeiro is Board Member at Grupo Nabeiro, one of the major private business groups in Portugal. Silvio Macedo is founder and CEO of Xarevision and ShelfAI. Both startups are changing the way people buy groceries. Starting with a degree in Computer Engineering, he went on to be a researcher and in 2000 started a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, at Imperial College London.
Silvio is 44 and was born in Portugal. He participated in several EU R&D projects and was consultant to companies like BBC and Rolls Royce Aeronautics. Since 2018 he acts as project leader for the development of technical specification for electronic advanced data-systems for customs and transport security under mandates of the European Commission and in line with the EU VAT Ecommerce legislation package.
